Im just getting underway with my latest arts project funded by Arts Council England.   An exciting project that is working with 5 singer/songwriters and poets to travel the towns of Derbyshire and write new music as they travel inspired by the towns.

Alex Blood is a songwriter, musician and artist from Derbyshire. His main passion is using his experience and creative skills in service to others as a Creative Facilitator and Practitioner, and he has worked in that role for over 15 years.  He is currently training on a Masters to become a qualified Music Therapist. 

The Diggers band have being the musical vehicle for his words for over a decade now and together the band have gained a national following through hundreds of shows, festivals and BBC Radio support.  Supporting slots for big names such as Maverick Sabre, Ferocious Dog, The Beat, Dreadzone and Jerry Dammers and guest vocals on tour for Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse, Alex is a seasoned performer know for his charismatic shows and infectious songs.
